1. Scope and institutional identification
This policy applies to the Pacia app, its institutional website, and official support channels. Institutional identification: Pacia Tecnologia LTDA. Professional and privacy contact: support@trainpacia.com. No company registration number, address, or personal information is published here.
2. Local planning and identity
Profile and planning inputs, goals, availability, and training preferences are processed locally on the iPhone. Pacia does not use its own backend to store core planning data.
Sign in with Apple may be used to establish identity in the app. Authentication is separate from plan storage: Apple may process identity and authentication data under its policies without turning local planning into a Pacia database.
3. Health and permissions
With explicit permission, Pacia may access compatible Health app categories and workout information on the device as needed for selected features. Access is limited by system permissions and is not general access to all Health data.
Health, notification, calendar, and Apple Watch permissions may be denied or revoked in Settings. Only features that depend on that access may be limited.
4. Garmin integration
In the integration planned for iOS 1.5, transfer is explicitly initiated by the user and takes place over Bluetooth through the Garmin Connect IQ SDK. The payload includes the selected workout, required technical identifiers, and a technical integrity fingerprint, which is not biometric data.
The verified implementation does not indicate that a Pacia backend receives completed activities, GPS routes, or Health data from Garmin.
5. Third-party services and responsibilities
Apple and Garmin may process technical, account, device, pairing, transport, and service-use information under their respective policies and terms. Use of the Garmin Connect IQ SDK, Garmin Connect, and the Connect IQ Store does not support a universal promise that no third party processes data.
Pacia is responsible for data choices and operation within its app; Apple and Garmin are responsible for processing they determine and perform in their own services, subject to their policies and applicable law. Pacia does not sell Health data or use it for targeted advertising.
6. Storage, deletion, and security
Core planning data remains on the iPhone and can be removed through the app or device Settings. Sign in with Apple identity and any information maintained by Apple or Garmin services must be managed through those services' controls and channels.
Local protection depends on iPhone security features and system controls. Transfers to third-party integrations are also subject to the protections of the relevant platform.
7. Children
Pacia is not directed to children below the minimum age applicable to consent to the service. If improper processing becomes known, reasonable deletion steps will be taken.
8. App Store disclosure
The current App Store Connect disclosure remains “Data Not Collected,” consistent with the verified on-device planning flow. This policy will be reviewed if the implementation or store disclosure changes; it does not expand collection based on assumptions.
